- Very Good Condition

This is one of those instruments that for some fairly inexplicable reason, sounds *so* good. Unmarked, it has a lot of the looks of a Japanese import instrument likely from the 1970's. No label or writing on the interior, we can only speak to what it "is" and offer a very fair price in an effort to find it a new home.
This dreadnaught has a slope shoulder style cut, but uniquely with a longer 25.5" scale length. It is constructed with a solid spruce top which is in good condition less some nicks and dings, and a split on the bass side of its rosette which has been sealed. The back appears to be laminate mahogany. Inside, it has non scalloped X bracing, with a thin, but wide, pinned maple bridge plate. A rosewood bridge- it is lifting slightly, but is pinned solidly. The bridge is fitted with an adjustable saddle, which stands quite tall in its current setup, which is nice and easy.
The neck as mentioned is designed with a 25.5" scale, made of mahogany, with a thick rosewood fingerboard (with a zero fret). The neck angle is great, the top without sinkage, and yields a very nice action - measuring 5/64" in height at the twelfth fret. The frets and fingerboard are very clean. The profile has a standard C shape, measuring .84" in depth at the first position. The nut appears to have been replaced with a simple plastic one, that is a bit too bit, but has nice feeling string spacing. The tuners work as intended, just a bit heavier to turn.
An excellent guitar for any beginner looking for a dreadnaught, but certainly nothing to sneeze at from any serious player either!
