Early post Civil war era banjo with eagle shield bracket and metal clad wooden rim; mahogany neck with flush, maple fret markers and a bone tailpiece...good early piece…. from recent collection needs cleanup, but it has a beautiful skin head and a lovely light set up. The friction tuners are newer violin, tuners.
