A truly one of a kind strat. A Warmoth neck coupled with a Japanese built body dating to 2006, this is a nice playing, vibe instrument at a player friendly price point.

The body is stamped with an accurate J serial stamp at the neck pocket, along with the FEB 10 2006 date, and SOL-COL - a designation Fender would use for "Solid Color". This Candy Apple Red finish has been roughed up and appears road worn, with some discoloration at the elbow. While being relic'd, it does appear to be the original color, with some of the grayish base coat present underneath some of the deeper wear - and in some spots burnt.
The body is outfitted with 3 noiseless single coil pick ups with a 5-way pickup selector - in a standard wiring scheme. The bridge appears to be original to this guitar, albeit with one replaced Dimarzio branded saddle.

The Warmoth neck is quite nice on this - and features a fun black Fender waterslide decal. This neck uniquely has a 1.626” nut width and bigger 6150 frets alongside a compound radius. The compound radius plays nice, and allows the player to make bends in the upper registers without choking out notes, while retaining a tighter radius at the first position for easier chord work. The neck is in very good condition with the exception of some fret wear. The action is nice and playable measuring a low 4-5/64" in height at the twelfth fret. Strangely, the neck plate has an embossed picture of David Gilmour.

Comes with a Fender hard shell case.
