Luthier Teije Wijnterp, known as "Teye" approachs high grade guitars from a players perspective. While having keen visual elegance that speaks to his Austin TX location almost as much as it does the inspiration from Tony Zemaitis.

A single cut, flat topped solid body electric, it has an exaggerated Les Paul style body, this example finished in all black with cream binding. Decked out in silver, this has custom milled and etching everywhere. The decorative pickguard lives up to its coyote name, with traditional iconography with a boutique hand done flair. From the stop bar cover, down to the thumbscrews at the saddle, this guitar is classy - but can roar with the best of them. Dimarzio humbuckers - this guitar features an otherwise familar control layout, with a control for "mood" - a pot adjusting the balance between the coils in each humbucker. From twang to thick power - this guitar can sit in or on a mix in whatever way you might need. While it does not appear to be dated, it is stamped under the neck pickup with the matching serial number with what appears to be a short neck tenon joint. No date, it is likely around 2013, with the case having been dated to 2012 from TKL. Although lightly used, it is in great shape with only mild surface wear present.

A set neck design, with a comfortable heel for easy upper register access, this neck is nice - and feels in the spirit of a classic Les Paul just with a gloss finish. A wider 1 25/32" nut width, the thickness measuring about .87" in thickness at the first position tapering up only mildly to about .9" at the twelfth. The full bound ebony fingerboard has a two full octave range - playing easily with low action that measure about 4-5/64" in height at the twelfth fret. Clean frets, this sings well in each position.

Weighs 8.1 lbs.

Includes slim TKL molded plastic case, and COA.
