In like new condition, this Takamine GD30 has all the charm that one would need for a budget but versatile dreadnaught guitar. A solid spruce top with Mahogany back and sides, it also features a cutaway for easy upper fret access, for when a tune just needs to go there. The GD30CE sports Takamine's TP-4TD preamp, giving you rich, clear amplified output, instantly. A feature of G-Series guitars, the TP-4TD features a gain knob; a tuner; an active shelving EQ with bass, middle, and treble sliders; and a low-battery indicator. The neck has a mahogany profile and an ovangkol fingerboard. The neck is designed with a 25.3" scale length and a 1 11/16" nut width. The neck is nice and straight with easy low action tuned to standard measuring about 7/64" to 6/64" in height from the bass course to the treble - the original saddles untouched. Cosmetically and structurally this example is virtually unplayed, with only very light surface wear present. Bridge was coming up when it came to us and it has since been repaired.
