Recognizable and well regarded amongst tonal purists, Tacoma made some fantastic American made instruments from about 1997 onward. This example dating to 2003, dates prior to the company being bought by Fender. One of their "Wing Series" instruments, the Chief, outfitted with a still very nice Fishman Prefix pickup system, is complimented by its unique feedback-less soundhole-less design - making it a great stage guitar. With its winged sound hole being closer to the player, it has seemingly more substantial volume and a really nice balance with rich bass response and nice trebles. It is constructed with a solid cedar top, and nice mahogany back & sides. The neck is constructed with a full 25.5" scale length bolt on neck. This guitar comes to us in great shape less some pick wear present towards its cutaway. The action measures a standard 6/64" in height with a tall saddle - albeit a shim in its neck pocket. Includes a hardshell case.
