A great value for a machine meant to rock. Schecter Guitars have a long storied history early on offering players upgraded parts, but became very well recognized brand amongst aspiring guitarists and bass players in the mid 2000's with high grade instruments that punched above their price point.
The C-1 model was a flagship electric in their lineup, seen here with a double humbucker setup, and a neck-thru design. Sonically a bit like a Les Paul, with the aesthetics of a fancy super-strat, the C-1 is a great catch all for any electric guitarist looking for a versatile but straight forward instrument. This example is in the cool trans-blue finish, showing off a quilted maple veneer top, with a 5 piece neck through design flanked by mahogany back. Strung through the body, it offers hefty sustain. A simple Volume and Tone control, 5 way pickup selector switch, and two stock Seymour Duncan pickups.
The neck on this example is nice and straight, yielding easy to play low action that is well coupled by its jumbo frets. Notably, this example of the Classic C-1 has the iconic Gibson inspired Vine/Tree of Life style inlay in its rosewood fingerboard. Grover tuners function as they should.
While being used, this example is in great shape with simple aesthetic wear which isn't too notable. Light pitting present in the volume and tone knobs, light dings (see photos), and some rust present on the back control panel screws.
