New Jersey based Roger Borys has been producing guitars since 1974. Inspired by the art deco designs of Gibson & D'Aquisto, his handmade instruments are top notch, featuring high grade components and craftsmanship. This recent B120 model from 2024 is in great used shape and will be a top player in one lucky customers collection. The B-120 model was designed along side James D'Aquisto and Barry Galbraith.

Constructed with a maple bound spruce top and flamed maple back & sides, it is designed with a 16" lower bout, fully hollow, with a slightly slimmer 2.75" depth. It sits comfortably and has a nice tone acoustically, and certainly shines when plugged in thanks to its Armstrong pickup. One piece bent over harp style tailpiece, it appears to be made of brass and is nice and strong yielding superb break angle to the two piece adjustable ebony bridge. Venetian cutaway, and nice ebony pickguard & knobs. Cosmetically, this example is in great condition with some light surface wear, but little play time overall.

The neck is designed with a Gibson style 24.75" scale length and is constructed out of maple with a fully maple bound ebony fingerboard with split parallelogram inlay. Fine detail with the binding being nibbed at each fret, resulting in super smooth playability. The neck is straight yielding easy low action measuring only 4/64" in height at the twelfth fret with a bit of room remaining on the thumb screws. Gold Grover tuners accent the fine peg head overlays.

Includes original hardshell case.
