This is an excellent example of Canadian banjo craftsmanship from Bill Rickard. The spunover rim is made of a metal alloy, which appears to be a copper material. The tone ring is a tubaphone tone ring giving this instrument a powerful sound. The rim measures in at 12 inches with a 24 inch scale length. The scoop in the fingerboard makes this a perfect old time banjo for any player.
