Red Valley Mandolins are handcrafted in Boise, Idaho with all the care and attention to detail that should go into something as personal as a musical instrument.

James Wilson has been building mandolins and mandolin family instruments since 1996, with the goal of creating instruments of the highest standard in craftsmanship, aesthetic, tonal quality and playability.
