Crafted using old NYC wood construction. Plied 3 piece found wood construction. It’s body design is based off the always classic Rickenbacker 330 electric guitar design, with hand burnished RC Kelly in the more simple paddle style headstock. The face of the body is beautifully painted with The Who’s aesthetic UK Flag, and further etched & wood burned likely by Cindy Hulej. Its maple neck is straight and in good condition with a maple veneer fingerboard with British Underground inspired fretboard inlay. It has dual hum bucking pickups and functions as it should with one volume & one tone control and pickup selector. Kluson single line Deluxe style vintage tuners and nice Half ashtray Telecaster style bridge. This could have slightly better playability would require a general setup (likely around $100-200 worth of general maintenance). The members of The Who (Pete Townsend, Roger Daltrey John Entwistle and Keith Moon) are beautifully depicted on the face of this instrument with Moons iconic massive drum set etched into the back. Very nice for any Who fan, electric guitar collector, or purveyor of Old New York.
