Crafted using old NYC wood construction. Plied Maple found wood construction. It’s body design is based off the classic BC Rich Mockingbird electric guitar design, with hand painted headstock with RC Kelly logo decaled.
The face of the body is beautifully etched and wood burned with Blondie and “ Kung Fu” iconography by Cindy Hulej, representing the bands song “Kung Fu Girls” -with lyrics scribed along its edge, signed by the artist behind the bridge. It’s bolt-on One piece maple neck is straight and in good condition with what appears to be an ebony fingerboard with clay dot fretboard inlay. It has a triple hum bucking pickup configuration, and functions basically as it should with controls for volume & tone control in conjunction with a 3 way pickup selector. Black Grover tuners and nice matching hardtail bridge. This could have slightly better playability would require a general setup (likely around $200 worth of general maintenance). Debbie Harry of Blondie and what appears to be Bruce Lee, are nicely depicted on the face of this instrument with Kung Fu iconography and high action still shots.
Very nice for any Kung Fu fan, Blondie lover, electric guitar collector, or purveyor of Old New York.
