Crafted using old NYC wood construction as per Rick Kelly’s typical builds. It’s body design is completely unique commemorating Jimi Hendrix’s famous song “Little Wing” lacquered in “Fire” red. The face of the body is beautifully etched near the elbow bout, wood burned with by Cindy Hulej, with an image of the acclaimed guitarist. Fittingly, the body is rounded and clearly also inspired by the instrument Prince had famously used. It’s bolt-on neck is straight and in good condition with a rosewood fingerboard with winged fretboard inlay. It has a single hum bucking pickup configuration, and functions as it should with a simple control for volume. Interesting one of a kind machined Pickguard match the what appear to be custom made wheel style tuners. The tuners function as they should along with the roller nut, which compliment this guitars Kahler tremolo system. It’s neck plate is stamped 29607. This could have slightly better playability would require a general setup (likely around $100 worth of general maintenance). Very nice for any Hendrix fan, electric guitar collector, or purveyor of Old New York.
