A fine classical instrument made in Milan by A. Monzino & Figli (label proudly intact) in 1907; lots of volume and warmth. The ribs are made from rosewood, and the skirt edge/top binding are likely of cypress; spruce top w/ inlaid tortoise pickguard (a few small chips near treble side), rosette has pearl inlay; red interior; later tailpiece. The 14" scale rosewood neck has a rosewood fingerboard (later frets), grafted peghead w/ rosewood overlay/backstrap; equipped with original tuners (buttons made from period materials).
In excellent cosmetic condition (minimal scratching and dings). Top edge of binding has shrunk near heel.
