Jerry fan? Well skip the line on a custom ordered Wolfie!
Phil Gawen had produced a number of very fine copies of the famed guitars of Jerry Garcia - featuring all the bells & whistles from preamps down to the binding. His passion for the build is evident, and the result is a *very* versatile and beautiful guitar.

A set neck design with a 25" scale length, the center strip of the body and neck are composed of 5 piece flamed maple and mahogany strips. The wings of the body are similar pancakes, with some very nice three dimensional flame, with the classic Wolf adorned behind the bridge. A high grade harmonica bridge and abalone decorated tailpiece are a nice touch to this three pickup hot rod. Under the hood, the guitar sports the Blaster preamp - two mini toggles for splitting the humbucker coils - as well as an effects loop (with mini toggle on and off) to better play around with dynamic sensitive effects. The aged brass pickup mount is a nice touch, and hosts three DiMarzio pickups which sound great straight into any rig.

The neck has some heft to it, again with a 25" scale length and a 1 23/32" nut width. The ebony fingerboard is fully bound in multi-ply brass, ebony and herringbone. The neck is nice and straight with a great feel, especially at the first position with its deep volute. The profile measures .88" in thickness at the first position, tapering up to 1.05" by the twelfth fret. Big frets are in great shape with virtually no wear present, the action nice and easy measuring a low 4/64" in height at the twelfth fret of the sixth string and only 3/64" on the first. Brass nut, replaced Sperzel locking tuners, and the famous aged Pearl Eagle in the headstock veneer.

A fantastic tribute to the famed Wolf. Includes original hardshell case. Weighs 8.1lbs
