Peavey's answer to the Stratocaster was a logical one. The Strat, factory equipped with three single coil pickups is one of the most regarded and versatile electric guitars of all time - American company Peavey could certainly produce a reasonably priced option for the beginner. The brands EXP line would focus on beginner centric but player forward details that wouldn't hurt the wallet. Seen here in the transparent red finish, it has a slightly edgier look than a Fender, and is equipped with a factory humbucker in the bridge - a great option for any beginner shredders. Standard 25.5" scale, it plays like one would expect a Strat to, with a speedy satin'd maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Although used, it shows only superficial wear, mostly light finish scratches - but otherwise plays great. Nice low action makes it a perfect choice for any beginner to start their musical career.
