From a production run from the late 90's into the early 2000's, we are pleased to feature this Peavey Eddie Van Halen signature. A beautifully spec'd out guitar, from the legends own - it makes sense that these have maintained a high status in the player world as well as being a respectable collectable. A one piece maple neck with maple cap fingerboard features 25.5" scale length, seated against the classic Peavey EVH body, with a subtle flamed maple top against a mahogany back - stained in a nice red finish. A Peavey licensed Floyd Rose functions just as it should, easily capable of Eruption level dive bombs.
This example comes to us in good shape with simple nicks and dings throughout, along the edges & sides. Some buckle rash is present on the back with some scratches, all purely aesthetic. The guitar plays with comfortable even low action and a straight neck. The action measures a nice low 4/64" in height at the twelfth fret, and shows only mild even fret wear throughout.
Original Peavey cream covered neck pickup mimics the look of the classic Dimarzio Super Distortion with a nice vintage low output, well matched for the neck position of 8.27k. The bridge pickup has been swapped a Zebra Seymour Duncan, rewound to a high output measuring 15.6k.
