Sold as is, this is a 50 year old Ovation from the original owner, in good condition, with original hard case. This Artist Classic model conforms to Ovation's genius four digit model code system, as it is a fully acoustic roundback flat top guitar, with shallow Artist bowl depth of 5-1/8", is a Classic model, in natural finish; no factory pickup. The bowl itself is in good shape with only some light cosmetic dings/scuffs, with a yellowed spruce top, plastic rosette, rectangular string loop bridge; repaired top crack on treble side with a few dings. The unbound mahogany neck has a small fingerboard extension, with 1-15/16" wide fingerboard; recent level crown and polish, with some general buzz. Easy to play currently, in need of some general TLC and hence being sold as described; slotted peghead with original tuner machines (missing gear cover on D string machine).
