We always love a good Ovation - for real! A unique tone that can be associated quickly with the likes of Glenn Campbell, these are really song writing machines. The deep bowl Balladeer is a great vintage guitar that won't break the bank. A solid spruce top, seen here in the burst finish, it is in clean condition, crack and separation free. Clean multi ply binding and cool rosette, this one only has simple surface level wear present, and a bit of wear on the back of the bowl.
The neck is speedy and shows hardly any sign of use in its ebony fingerboard. The neck has a soft v profile, made with a multi ply mahogany, maple and rosewood skunk stripe. Standard 25.5" scale length, it has a 1 21/32" nut width, and measures .84" in depth at the first position, tapering up to only about .86" at the ninth. The frets and fingerboard are clean, and the action is low measuring about 5/64" in height at the twelfth fret.
Includes original chipboard case.
