A nice round neck Resophonic guitar - currently setup for dobro/lap playing with a high nut and saddle, but certainly capable of playing Spanish. A deep stained body with a 14 7/8" lower bout, a nice old chrome resonator with two caned radiator ports at its shoulder - it has a good classic look and likely was built in the mid 1970's. It comes to us used, but in good shape, with only cosmetic blemishes - mostly surface wear, with a small chip present on the back of the bass side lower bout). A bright and warm sound that has nice volume - this is a well priced entry point for any player looking to get into slide (currently tuned to open E). The neck appears straight, and the frets very clean (likely having been tuned up this way for some time with only minimal wear at the first position) but we decided to leave this one (for the time being) set up for slide. Original tuners work as they should. Original hardware looks and functions just like it should, from the hanger tailpiece to its tuners. Standard 25.5" scale length.
