Hand made in Poland, Nova guitars provide all the benefits and appointments of a professional level classical guitar without the extra adornments that raise the price. These guitars feature a double top made from western red cedar. This allows for a quick attack, extra sustain and headroom. The sides and back are constructed of Bolivian rosewood with an A.R.S (acoustic resonance system) construction pioneered by the builder Turkowiak. The neck is reinforced modified aspen and features the Turkowiak nylon asymmetric shape. The raised fingerboard is African ebony and features a fingerboard extension on the treble side. The natural bone nut is polished, hand shaped and has 52mm width. Ebony binding and bridge as well as high-quality cosmo-black tuning machines, with ebony buttons and black aluminum rollers with bearings, screw inlay, ratio 18:1.
This particular guitar comes to us used in excellent condition. It has an undersaddle pickup installed that has volume and tone adjusted inside the sound hole. There is a small amount of wear present on the top between the sound hole and bridge on either side of the strings. The action measures 4mm at the 12th fret on the bass side and 3mm on the treble. You don't often see these on the used market. Comes with original hardshell case.
