A modern offering from the famed National brand. The Wood Rocket, Wocket, or Resorocket is a fantastic single cone resonator, equipped here with a their "Hotplate" including a versatile Tele style neck pickup from Lollar. A figured mahogany body with a tri-cone inspired grill, and a deep single cutaway, this is an attractive and unique instrument for the right players collection. Fully bound, it has a 14 1/8" lower bout that sits comfy. The bound round-neck has a standard 25" scale length, ebony fingerboard with simple MOP dot inlay. The slot headstock with the pearloid veneer looks great, with a final touch of "National" being engraved in its tuner plate. Certainly a cool, interesting, and stage ready guitar. Includes original hardshell case. Weighs 6.4lbs
