A fine new bluegrass powerhouse by modern banjo innovator Mitch Meadors; total ease of playability, pre-war tone, lovely craftsmanship; built by Eric Sullivan, Louisville KY. Featuring an 11" diameter rim assembly (11/16" deep, 3 layer maple block construction), equipped with Mitch's .38 Special 20 hole flathead tonering, dual coordinator rods, one-piece flange, with engraved tailpiece, and fully bound torrefied mahogany resonator; all hardware is nickel plated including armrest. The 26-1/4" scale mahogany neck has a fully bound rosewood fingerboard with Flying Eagle pearl inlay pattern, 1-1/4" wide at nut, EVO gold fretwire, and equipped with planetary style tuners; in fantastic condition, never owned before, but showing some light shop ware (surface scratches, some tarnish on metal parts)
