From the model's second year of production, we're happy to offer this 1977 Martin HD-28 that recently had a neck reset and refret, and includes the original blue Martin hard case. Bearing the "official" bluegrass seal of approval, this fully bound dreadnaught is trimmed in herringbone, with a Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, scalloped braces, original ebony bridge with small maple bridge plate inside; later tortoise pickguard replacement; two hairline top separations have been glued (no cleats), with added undersaddle electronics; several dings are present on the body, with some cosmetic hairline surface wear. The 25.4" scale mahogany neck was recently reset, with refret present on the ebony fingerboard, with added Waverly tuners (original Rotomatics in case pocket); 1-21/32" wide at the nut.
