Spectacular custom 400 model from Kevin Enoch, featuring cherry construction, short scale length, and a 12" diameter rim assembly. Of high grade stained cherry, the rim was expertly crafted with ivoroid binding on both sides, exterior and interior edges, with an ebony rim cap, and rolled brass tonering; Vega style hardware present including No Knot, with notable tarnish to metal plating specifically on tension hoop in 7pm position. The one piece curly cherry neck has a short 25.5" scale length ebony fingerboard with tapered scoop, is bound on either side, with delicate wooden lamination sandwiched between ebony under the ebony board, heel cap, and peghead overlay; Enoch's expertry in engraved inlaid pearl is on fully display here, with intricate Cole 400 style pearlwork present throughout including Man in the Moon w/ moustache; equipped with five star planetary tuners w/ amber buttons, bone nut with 1-5/32" nut width. In fine shape with little cosmetic wear apart from metal plating tarnish, and very light fret wear.
