It is a much neater way of attached your strap to your ukulele without dangling strings which can get tangled and even pull your ukulele strings out of tune. The Jumping Cow USLX1 leather strap extender has a brass screw which you undo, then align the hole in the strap extender with the last hole on your strap, and screw the screw back together to affix the extender to the strap.
