This is a good quality 1890s open back Banjo, which is set up with a fiber skin head. Mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard with a 26 inch scale and simple inlays.. The rim is 11 inch and fully spun over with 20 brackets. Currently set up with nylon strings as a classic player, this banjo was played in the American Banjo Fraternity for many years; cosmetic wear present, evidence of past overspray, with some fading to finish throughout.
