Unusual example from Chicago maker J.B. Schall; the 11.5" rim assembly is spun over with standard style hardware, wooden interior wall, with tiny maker plaque on three piece dowel stick; plating worn from shoes and notched tension hoop exposing raw brass; integrated hook tailpiece with end pin. The 27.5" scale ebony fingerboard has simple diamond pearl inlay fret markers/star/"bowtie" pearl inlay, with rare three piece rosewood neck w/ V profile; new nut, equipped with patent friction tuners; brass heel cap. A nice nylon player, the banjo has forward relief but plays with medium low action.
