Harmony instruments are a mainstay in many peoples lives - having been the "beginner option" for many from the 1950's to the 70's.
Here we have one such instrument, a fairly well maintained beginner open back Tenor banjo. A great way to get started, this one is setup in standard C Fifths tuning - but one could certainly set it up for Irish, or Chicago (Guitar style) tuning. A simple composite rim, it has a big sound. While well maintained, it does show some rust on the hooks and nuts. Original Waverly stamped tailpiece. Replaced fingerboard binding, the finish has been worn down and certainly could be touched up by the next owner. The neck is straight and the action is low and comfortable! Includes simple chipboard case.
