Hard-to-find, original SIX-STRING H. C. Dobson w/ doughnut shaped Silver Bell tonering and flush fret mahogany neck. The 11" rim assembly is spun-over, and retains its original distribution label from Alfred Hays, London; notched dowel with Dobson's stamps and serial number; three replaced hooks and nuts. The 26-1/4" scale flush-fret mahogany neck has a 1-5/8" nut width, flush fret ebony fretboard, large brass patent stamped sheath, and proudly features a total of six strings; equipped with repro no knot tailpiece. Expected playing wear and dings and scratches; a nice banjo with good playability (only light forward relief) and superior tone. Includes chipboard case
