Restored Gibson TB-Granada, from a batch equipped with 40 hole archtop tonerings, built in 1929, with unmounted reproduction five string neck from Wyatt Fawley. The original laminate 3-ply maple rim assembly measures ~.64" deep, with original stamps, oval shaped Gibson Mastertone decal, with original finish present on rim; interior and exterior of resonator have been refinished (red paint marks from FON present), with replaced notch felt; some dings and surface cosmetic wear present to wooden parts; the metal parts appear original but replated, including the 40 hole archtop tonering, tension hoop, and Grover "clamshell" tailpiece. The gold-plated, cast, one piece flange appears to be a later factory replacement part, showing little wear beneath plating. The original maple tenor neck has a fully bound rosewood fingerboard, double-cut peghead, with mother of pearl inlay in flying eagle pattern/engraved Mastertone block, equipped with gold plated off-set tab Grover tuners w/ pearl buttons; FON written in pencil above lag bolts; long lines of finish checking present and small finish bubbles near heel cap. Included is a beautifully crafted five string neck was made by Wyatt Fawley, built with 26-3/8" scale length, hand engraved Mastertone block; never been installed, there are no lags present.
