The Gibson Nighthawk was introduced in 1992, with a slightly offset body meant to once again, compete with the comfort of the Fender market. Strat like 25.5" scale length, 5 way switch, belly cut, and even a three pickup ST-3 model would further idolize their competition, yielding a unique and intriguing look into the brands broad history.

This first year example comes to us well loved but full of music. The maple cap, sporting the fireburst finish looks fantastic, and has a bit more three dimensional flame than a typical standard model. With a set neck and mahogany back, this Les Paul-Esque take on a Strat sits comfortably and makes a lot of sense for a number of players from really any genre. The Minibucker in the neck and open coil in the back sound nice and have a good bite with some overdrive.

This particular example comes to us in good shape form the original owner, with only cosmetic wear present. Surface wear is present on the body with most the notable "dings" along its back edge, and headstock veneer. The neck is nice and straight, with standard issue nabbed Gibson binding and frets present with mild wear. The neck profile is a speedy medium C, that has a fair bit of wear in the finish (as many have said, it feels like your favorite pair of jeans). The gold hardware is in good shape but its luster a bit worn, but very much functioning.

All in all, a very cool guitar that has had its experience on stage, and looking for its next set of hands. Comes with the original hardshell case (very stickered).
