1926 Gibson MB-3 featuring a diamond flange and rounded peghead shape w/ diamond/snowflake inlay. The rim assembly features a rolled hoop tonering, diamond cutout flange, single coordinating rod; all metal hardware is original; rim is stamped, and chalk on resonator is present; resonator has some scratches and dinging; interior wall separation present, as well as surface crack on exterior near coordinator rod; two replacement thumb screws, the other are missing. The 14" scale maple neck has an ebony fretboard, 1-3/16" nut width; missing some finish on back from playing; there is some forward relief, but the banjo still plays and intonates.
