The Gibson C-1 manufactured from 1957-1971 is a spruce top classical guitar with mahogany sides and back. This example is from the mid 60s'. Ladder braced spruce top with rosewood bridge and a large herringbone rosette. It has a 3 piece mahogany/maple neck with a 25.5" scale length with a zero fret and a 2" nut width.
This guitar is being sold AS IS because the binding is beginning to crumble which is common with gibsons from this era. Some pieces have come off already but most of it still remain intact. There is also a small belly on the top but the action is good and there is a lot of room left on the saddle. Frets have minimal wear and the rest of the guitar is in good condition with the exception of some finish checking. Comes with the original faux alligator chip board case.
