George C. Dobson "Victor" model features an unusual tall metal tonering that sits upon the thin wooden rim. The 10-3/4" pot features gorgeous wavy marquetry on the back outer edge, has a stamped Victor tailpiece; mostly original hardware, treble side hooks and nuts are severely tarnished (green in some areas); missing plaque. The 25" scale mahogany neck has a dyed pearwood fingerboard (wood shows playing wear in first position), decorate inlay on the board, crude, flakely abalone decorations on the peghead overlay; equipped with carved ivoroid friction pegs; peghead tuner holes have been re-doweled, with evidence of gold leak flakes on side of peghead.
