Tooled leather & Telecasters... a timeless combination! Certainly for the likes of country legend Waylon Jennings!
Here we have a very well done leather clad put matched well to a Mexican made Fender Telecaster from 2007. Well fitted, and hardly used, it's a fresh look that is instantly reminiscent of the Americana from the last 5 decades. Original hardware and electronics - the instrument plays and sounds twangy - just as it should. A nice straight neck that shows no fret wear throughout, but does have some finish wear along the profile. The profile is a slightly chunky C profile measuring .83" front to back at the first position, and .9" at the 12th. The action is low currently measuring about 5/64" at the 12th fret, but can be adjusted for the player. Keep in mind the pickguard is mounted to the leather, so everything is seated a bit higher than expected, resulting in the pickup height needing stay a bit lower than normal.
This is a serious guitar perfect for an enthusiast country star or for any Fender collector.
Comes with poly foam case.
