A three piece Ash body, with the iconic 60's style three tone burst finish. Notable factory nail hole present on backside. Very nice cosmetic condition - it shows fairly light checkin, small nicks and dings primarily along its edge, with slight binding shrinkage at the cutaway, and waist. Clean 8 hole three ply guard, with clean screws, original patent stamped bridge and saddles - missing ashtray cover. Original dark circuit wiring has been modified to modern standard wiring scheme (Neck, Middle, Bridge) - with original pots present (Volume - Stackpole 20th week of '64, Fender scheme (70-2125-0034 Tele tone pot). Original pickups present

A great neck showing virutally no wear, the truss rod flush and functional. Neck is accurately stamped "3OCT63B" indicating the Telecaster designation, and the standard B 1 5/8" nut width. Slim C profile measures .80" in depth at the first position tapering to about .96" at the twelfth. Veneer Brazilian rosewood fingboard shows virtually no play wear - original clay dots (something that would change soon after in the full CBS acquisition). Original frets are clean with no dead spots. Original Kluson Deluxe function as they should.
