Please to have a very nice Telecaster dating to 1969, the finish stripped down to natural ash. With the twang that dreams are made of, it is completely original and ready for the next chicken picker. Breezy to play, this guitar comes to us well maintained, retaining the original electronics, a recent re-fret and playing as it should.

Satin poly finish over the three piece ash body, there is some finish checking present throughout and some nicks primarily at its cutaway and around the edges Mostly original hardware less its replaced pickguard, this guitar still sports the original ashtray, Patent bridge and electronics. A fantastic and robust tone as one comes to expect from a 60's tele - complete with modern wiring. This model features the body mounted neck pickup (adjustable under the pickguard). Original '66 Stackpole pots present with accurate codes the tone pot obscured by the original solder joint. A fair bit of rust is present on the screw heads, but all functions and holds as it should with no serious stripping. Red finish, presumably not original, is present in the neck pocket, and pickup cavities - with some red paint visible on the pickup mounting screws, it is likely not original.

A beautiful neck featuring a veneer rosewood fingerboard with MOP dot inlay. The one piece maple neck has beautiful grain. Virtually no wear is present in the profile. The neck is straight and plays with light low action that measures a spec 5/64" in height at the twelfth fret. The neck itself is a B nut width (1 5/8") according to its heel stamp which reads 3MAR69B (3 indicating Telecaster, the date, and the width). It has a fairly speedy C profile which measures .87" thick at the first position and about .92" at the twelfth. The fingerboard is in good shape. The frets have been replaced, with slots that go into the maple. Fender F stamped tuners work as they should and are a nice finishing touch to this iconic instrument.

Comes with replaced but vibey correct case.
