Not much needs to be said when talking about the Fender Princeton. Introduced in 1946, the Princeton started its life as a simple practice amp. The smallest amp in Fender’s catalog equipped with tremolo (and reverb in the case of the Princeton Reverb) made it a popular choice among players in the studio and on stage. This example dates to 1976, only a few years before its discontinuation from the Fender amp catalog in 1979. It comes to us in good used condition, with very clean cosmetics. Functionally it is in very good working order, and has the excellent tone that Princeton’s are renowned for. Internally, there is some previous repair work present. New cathode bypass caps, a replaced output transformer, a new speaker cable with spade connectors, and a 3 prong power cord are all present inside. Otherwise, the amp remains original. This is a superb choice for any Fender aficionado, Amp collector, or studio.
