The Fender Jazz Bass is one of the most revered musical instruments - having exceptional playability & tone for nearly any musical application. The JB75-80 was a model introduced in 1986 as part of the Fender Japan lineup replicating the 1975-style Jazz Bass.
Crafted at the Fujigen factory during the golden era of Fender Japan production, this J bass features a white ash body, maple neck and bound rosewood fretboard with block inlay.
True to the 1975 style, it delivers a sharp, articulate tone, with a natural fundamental punch and a thick and focused low end. The bridge pickup has clarity and growl, balanced by the fuller thump of the neck position single coil.
The attractive Yellow White finish looks appropriately like an aged Olympic White, with subtle yellowing from age and faint "tan lines" from previously removed stickers on the back. Cosmetic wear is otherwise limited to some minor dings along the sides of the body and on top adjacent to the bridge. The neck profile retains its smooth gloss finish, with light palm wear along the stripe and a few shallow marks along the profile.
A Roadrunner gigbag is included.
