Is that a Brazilian Rosewood D-35?! ... Almost!
The Fender F-85 was released in 1973 and underwent a few changes during its near decade of production. Constructed with a laminate spruce top, and laminate 3 piece Brazilian rosewood back (& sides), this is one will turn heads. Due to its construction, this is a very robust design that will hold up well, as it has, for years to come. Flanked X bracing, it has a deep and healthy tone that is shocking for its low price point.
It is constructed with a 25.5" scale length, with a comfortable C profile that measures a hefty .90" thick at the first position that tapers to about 1" by the eleventh fret. It has a 1 11/16" nut width. Clean frets, clean fingerboard, and an untouched saddle, the action measures 6/64" in height at the twelfth fret.
Includes a newer hardshell case!
