The EEG (Eastwood Electric Guitar) is a tribute to the AMPEG AEB model from the late 1960's. Strange yet elegant, the EEG has a look like no other guitar - fitting to be a signature model for eclectic art rock band, Deerhoof. The F-holes are cut completely through the Basswood body for an unusual see-through look. Equipped with two high output P90 pickups, it has a dark but cutting tone - which is SUPER versatile, as both pickups tone controls offer up further malleability via push pull controls - giving the player access to out of phase, coil splitting, low & high pass filtering... dang. This one comes to us in like new condition with the plastic still on the pickguard! The bolt on neck is designed with a conventional 25.5" scale length, a medium C neck with a very flat fingerboard - the frets in like new shape. The neck is straight, and the action is easy, measuring only 4/64" in height at the twelfth fret with plenty of adjustment room at the bridge. Includes original hardshell case.
