An early Deering "Basic" model from 1982, featuring an 11" cast rim assembly w/ individual flange pieces; fully bound resonator w/ some scuffs and scrapes. The 26" scale mahogany neck, has a rosewood fretboard w/ circular position dots; three piece peghead with some finish checking, and equipped with Kluson Deluxe tuners. In excellent original condition, small finish wear on top of peghead, and belt buckle scratches on back of resonator. A fine, lightweight banjo, includes a later hard case.
