Featuring three factory Dimarzio pickups, these Jackson made Charvel guitars of the 90's are fiery. With a wide range of tones out of stacked single coils in the neck and middle, to the extra output at the bridge - this has a nice level of depth, clarity and certainly can sit in a thick mix. Punching far above the price point, this is a speedy shred guitar, ready for its next stage.

The super Strat body, as mentioned is routed HSS - featuring a Dimarzio Evolution in the bridge. The all black finish is in good shape with some nicks and dings present around the edge. In a past career this guitar has sported some drawings in silver sharpie, which have basically been removed, less some harder to get to spots near its controls. Outfitted with a Schaller licensed Floyd Rose, this is actually missing the tremolo bar - something that could fairly easily be obtained. Simple Master Volume and Tone controls round this out.

The neck has a 22 fret slab rosewood board, with a speedy slim C maple profile. The neck has a satin'd gloss, which is nice and slick, with minimal wear to the profile, some nicks present in the upper register of the treble side - but nothing too problematic or annoying. Standard 25.5" scale with 1 11/16" nut width, the action plays easily with a height of about 5/64" on the sixth string at the twelfth fret, and about 4/64" on the first. Clean frets show virtually no wear. Sadly, the locking nut is missing - but the guitar has been setup with the bridge floating, plenty of room in either direction at the fine tuners, and good tuning stability regardless of the nuts presence - again, something that could be replaced if necessary. Charvel branded Gotoh tuners all function as intended.

Includes molded plastic rectangle Alvarez electric case, which fits great!
