This is a RARE, original banjeaurine with 10 3/4" full spun rim with scalloped, Whyte Laydie tonering. Banjeurines are short scale instruments meant to play solos in banjo orchestras. The mahogany neck has a 19-3/4" scale and is straight and true but has well repaired crack at the heel and was refinished at the time of repair. Missing the metal name plate. Attractive engraved pearl throughout the peghead and fingerboard. This is a great banjo for cuddling in a chair and playing. Complete with period HSC
