This is a presentation grade Neapolitan-style mandolin from the famed Boston, banjo maker. We have left it without strings since it is really a presentation piece. If someone wants to make it play, they can invest the time. The body has 42 rosewood ribs, and it is completely crack free and cloth lined inside. The tuners have a beautifully engraved silver plate and real pearl buttons. The peghead, pickguard and the entire fingerboard are decorated with the classic "tree of life" pattern found on the most expensive five string banjos. This is an instrument to be treasured and displayed along with your Boston made banjos.
