From Long Beach California, Barcus-Berry is a well known pickup company recognized as the first company to create a piezo electric pickup in the early 1960's. The brand took off with great success, as a relatively affordable, and very high quality means for acoustic instrumentalists to amplify their instruments. Here we have a fine example of their "Guitar" model. It is designed with a 12" lead wire running between its wooden piezo contact and its 3.5mm barrel (with mounting bracket). Untested, but appears to be in good condition cosmetically with mild wear. Requires simple adhesive for application. Comes with the original plastic casing and Warranty Registration card.
