A lovely new Karindula, or Bass Lute that is ready for action! A kind of huge banjo, the body made out of a large gourd, and was covered with a goat skin. A long piece of wood extends through the gourd making a neck. Atop the neck is a homespun percussive instrument which allows the player to "shake, rattle, and roll".
