New items this week

Another Jazz Fest has come and gone... The 2024 reprise of festivities was certainly an interesting and notable one. Following a course of upward trajectory since the pandemic, this was a particularly well populated event. Our store, being in the heart of the activities, was packed to the brim since the previous weekend with folks from all across the country visiting to see the music - as well as a number of performers from as far away as Finland! We take pride in being able to help represent our city as another destination space amongst the fun that is the Jazz Festival, and we welcome all through our doors in hopes of showing them a nice instrument or two. Having concluded our annual summer sale, I would like to thank all of our customers, consignors and friends that continually do business with us - we couldn't do it without ya! This week, we obtained a number of fun and interesting instruments, including the recent Fender Coronado & Gibson ES-125 (seen below), as well as some great ukuleles to a cello banjo by Kevin Enoch! Onward!

Fender Coronado II Black Cherry Burst (2013)

Gibson ES-125 (ca.1955)

While our summer sale has come to a close, a number of instruments are still marked down, and some marked down EVEN FURTHER! I didn't think it could happen - but alas, we need to keep movin' along the inventory to make space on the walls! This week we have a full gamut, from a great player Martin, to a few fine Fenders. Take a look below, and as always, give us a call if you see something you're interested in that maybe you need help with the price of.

Fender American Standard Stratocaster (1995)

Staff pick — Elements Of Sound by Adrian DiMatteo

From Sam - A long time friend of mine, Eastman School of Music graduate and jazz guitarist Adrian DiMatteo, has finished an insightful & deep book, delving into his personal philosophies of sound and healing. Thoughtful and spiritual, his concepts are rich and certainly thought provoking. We are happy to have a few copies on hand here at the shop!
