ROCHESTER FOLKUS presents The Crooked North with Ruth & Dana Fine

The Crooked North with Ruth and Dana Fine - The Crooked North  is an all-acoustic original Americana band that features some of the top bluegrass players in the area. They capture the high energy of new a generation of modern bluegrass, the gritty soul of great American songwriting, and the Rust Belt ethos of their Western New York home. The music features virtuosic banjo and fiddle jams, tight harmony singing, and compelling original songs. Opening the evening will be a set by local performers Ruth and Dana Fine. Dana and Ruth both grew up singing in church at an early age and have performed as solo acts, as a duo, and in a variety of bands. They are known for their vocals, harmony and range including ballads, bluegrass, country, gospel, rock, folk, and originals.
